The course consists of a three-day class consisting of 90% hands-on exercises that build on each other to configure the Xprotect advanced VMS according to specifications from realistic scenarios. Step-by-step instructions guide the learners as they configure systems based on sample specifications.

A final project allows participants to practice and demonstrate their skills in a more independent environment, but with continued support from the facilitator.

The company aims for participants to leave the class with a detailed sequential checklist and annotated notes to help transfer their knowledge to the field. Successful students will also leave prepared to complete the Milestone Certified Integration Technician (MCIT) online exam.

The new two-day class has been designed to build knowledge and skills on designing solutions for Milestone’s Advanced products - Xprotect Expert and Corporate. Using the Milestone Solution Design Model, attendee's will focus on surveillance system design across several vertical markets. Successful students will also leave prepared to complete the Milestone Certified Design Engineer (MCDE) online exam.
