Civintec showcases high security IP reader in Paris

Civintec will exhibit its brand new high security NFC and 13.56MHz IP reader, CN56X0B, at Cartes 2015 in Paris, France. The optimised CN56X0B physical high security and smart access reader is designed into a high security platform, which introduces multi-techniques to work with all main 13.56Mhz smart cards.

The CN56X0B is designed to allow system expansion and yet still retains a high level of security.  It supports multi-RFID smart card options: Mifare (up to 7byte block), Mifare Ultra light, Mifare Plus, Mifare Desfire EV1, Felica, with up to 848 kbps high speed in card reading and embedded SAM (Secure Access Module) on request.

Supporting ISO/IEC18092 NFC (Peer-to-Peer), the IP reader CN56X0B features smart access with an NFC solution designed for popular smartphone applications. The CN56X0B is equipped with a 9-24V wide operating voltage and multi-interface TCP/IP, Wiegand, RS232/485, C&D and ABA.  It offers three-wires to fully control the bio-colour LED and buzzer for flexible system integration. It can also be mounted and installed onto a  metal surface.

The CN56X0B supports DHCP, UDP and TCP. It enables static IP address assignation with HTTP protocol supported, and a TCP/IP online upgrade via a website to greatly ease firmware upgrades and IP parameter settings. It supports remote IP address, factory default setting, and system reset function for easy setting. 

As well as having a built-in TCP/IP facilit with relay it is designed for lower power consumption and is tamper proof providing a low cost server managed system. The high security IP reader performs fast reconnection after power failure and potential network outages. There is a keypad shortcut facility offered to enter into the upgrade mode and factory parameters recovery mode.

Civintec offers the IP reader with a Config Tool Demo Software for multi reader connection, as well as to flexibly integrate with more Civintec devices and other access control systems. Civintec welcomes and supports customised design to meet the various market requirements.

As a result, this latest development from Civintec provides users with new features for a high level of security and a more convenient access control solution suitable for various system requirements.
