Enclosed in an elegant housing, it offers a host of new features without compromising any of the functions or security available in the high-end Iros Touch NG diallers. Through incorporated WIFI and GPRS, the Iris Connect makes cumbersome network cabling redundant and programming a walk in the park through any Wifi enabled devices such as tablets and smartphones.

The Iris Connect is available in 2 variants, Iris Connect Solo offering single path alarm signaling via Wifi and the Iris Connect Duo offering dual path alarm signaling with Wifi as the primary path and GPRS as the back-up path.

Chiron’s advanced Iris AoIP technology offers a highly relevant and intelligent dialler with various unique and innovative features.  For example an innovative battery and power design allows the Iris Connect to operate for >15 hours if mains power fails. The dialler uses 4 x AA rechargeable batteries rather than large lead acid batteries and this innovation is made possible by the unique processor system designed by Chiron. Chirons's technology provides a continuous, uninterrupted connection, without any delay when connecting to the Remote Service App. 

The AoIP also offers vastly improved upload/download speeds, and full VoIP and SIP services as standard on both variants making them ideal for voice applications such as audio verification, lift installations and social care.  The system  is quick and easy to configure using any Wifiweb enabled device to access the multilingual web based
configuration screen. Notification is also available by text messages on the Duo model.  And finally high speed bus interfaces allow for faster integration for upload/download, configuration from the panel keypad and alarm transmissions.

Last week, the Iros Connect series was introduced at the Sectech Exhibition in Copenhagen and will be available from Chiron’s distribution partners as of mid January 2015.
