The new line includes 1.3M, 2M, 3M, 4M and 5M outdoor bullet cameras (OB-130Af, OB-200Af, OB-300Af, OB-400Af and OB-500Af) and 1.3M, 2M, 3M, 4M and 5M vandal domes (VD-130Af, VD-200Af, VD-300Af, VD-400Af and VD-500Af). These two new ranges of outdoor security cameras feature superb megapixel images and reduced bandwidth consumption making them suitable for tough, outdoor commercial applications.

The 1.3M to 5M outdoor bullet and dome security cameras are equipped with 1/2.5" sensors with best in class light sensitivity at higher resolutions and image quality that is enhanced with the latest IR corrective technology. Featuring megapixel resolution, this new series of cameras are able to provide extremely wide coverage with HDTV clarity. Additionally, these cameras feature high performance H.264 compression technology which minimizes bandwidth and storage needs while utilising a number of innovative bandwidth-efficient technologies inside the camera.

This new line of cameras are designed with powerful software features to maximize the capability of each camera which allows every model to adapt to variable environments and provide optimised video quality. The intelligent multi-profile sensor offers five profiles so users can optimise each individual image parameter. With this feature the user has the ability to set various sensor and lens attributes in a profile, including the brightness, contrast, sharpness, saturation, exposure, de-noise, white balance etc. Furthermore, the profiles can be switched automatically following the user-defined schedule. Up to three pre-set profiles (day, night, and sunset) and two user-defined profiles are provided for the camera to allow ease of installation.

These cameras can be configured to continue recording and store the data to the SDHC/ SD card when the network or power connection is interrupted. With a UPS system, such as the Brickcom BP-1000 battery PoE splitter, the cameras can continue recording even if there is a power failure.

For protection against the elements each camera is furnished with an IP66-rated, weather-proof housing to withstand rain and poor weather conditions. This feature enhances the 1.3M to 5M outdoor bullet and dome series performance and reliability in extremes of cold and warm weather. These new products will be available by May 2012.
