The VD-300N series offers real time HD quality video at 1080p @30fps giving the end user smooth, seamless video coverage. The series offers H.264, MPEG-4 and motion JPEG triple codec compression for optimum compression, lower storage requirements, and faster transmission and with the Sony CMOS sensor it is ideal for critical surveillance applications. It features superior dynamic range for outstanding performance in high-contrast and difficult lighting environments.

With the SD/ SDHC memory card inserted, the Brickcom VD-300N series can record the video locally, and the user can either play back the video clips right on the camera’s web UI or download them for viewing later. Live view, recording and playback functions are all incorporated into the camera making it a complete stand-alone surveillance system. Also the DI/DO terminal allows users to connect the VD-300N series to an external alarm and sensor devices for added security protection.

For protection against the elements the VD-300N series is designed with an IP67-rated weather-proof housing to withstand rain and dust ingress. The VD-300Np model is also equipped with built-in fan and heater, allowing the camera to operate perfectly in a temperature range of -40 ºC to 50ºC (-40ºF to 122ºF) where as the VD-302Np can operate in a range of 0 ºC to 50ºC (32ºF to 122ºF). In addition the VD-300N series meets the IK10 vandal proof requirements making it a reliable solution for outdoor surveillance.

The Brickcom VD-300N series camera provides an advanced image sensor profile management function allowing it to adapt to variable environments. The proprietary intelligent multi-profile management feature gives the user the ability to set various sensor and lens attributes in a profile, including the brightness, contrast sharpness, saturation, exposure, de-noise, white balance, iris, IR-cut, etc. Furthermore, the profiles can be switched automatically following the user-defined conditions, such as day & night, schedule, and digital Input. Up to 3 pre-set profiles (day, night, sunset) and 2 user-defined profiles are provided for the camera for additional flexibility.

The VD-300Np camera incorporates a motorised lens and the Smart focus function, which enables user remote focus of the camera anywhere there is internet connectivity. Smartfocus means that the user can focus the camera from their computer without having to physically go to the camera location. Meanwhile, the VD-302Np camera is featured with a vari-focal lens; users can select different solutions to meet their needs.
