Bangkok Met Fire & Rescue Dept pledge support for Secutech Thailand

Secutech Thailand, set to become the leading trading platform for the security, fire and safety industries in Thailand, has confirmed two new government supporters for its upcoming show which will be held 30 June - 2 July 2011 at the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre.
This annual show is organised by Messe Frankfurt New Era Business Media Ltd and IPEX - International Promotion & Exhibition Co Ltd. “We are honoured that the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration and the Fire and Rescue Department have given their support to our show,” said Mr Parson Lee, Managing Director, Messe Frankfurt New Era Business Media Ltd. “This further confirms the importance of Secutech Thailand in its role as a professional trade fair for Thailand’s security industry.”

Other government supporters for Secutech Thailand include the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Labour, Royal Thai Police and the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB). The show’s supporting organisations are the Asian Professional Security Association (APSA) – Thailand Chapter; ASIS International – Singapore Chapter; ASIS International – Thailand Chapter; the Building Safety Inspectors And Officers Association (BSA); Executive Security Services Association of Thailand (ESSAT), International Security Industry Organisation (ISIO) and the Thai Contractor Association under His Majesty the King's Patronage.

Secutech Thailand hopes to attract more than 5,000 local and international visitors and 120 exhibitors from Australia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, South Africa, Taiwan, Thailand, UK and US. Some of the leading brand names include Avtech, Axis, CNB, CSST, Dahua, Everfocus, Hikvision, LG, Panasonic, Samsung, Sony, Tamron and Vivotek.

To keep visitors and exhibitors updated with the latest industry information and to build up their industry networks, Secutech Thailand 2011 is organising a series of fringe programmes which are expected to attract large crowds.

As the Thai government is demanding more stringent fire protection, fire safety is gaining greater importance in Thailand. The Fire & Safety Seminar will take place on 30 June and is supported by the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration and the Fire & Rescue Department. It will feature government officials and industry experts who will talk about regulations and standards, case studies and the latest technologies relating to fire and safety.

Also on 30 June, the APSA Thailand Conference will explore new business concepts and share experiences on how to enter the electronic security business. The conference is sponsored by the Asian Professional Security Association (APSA).

The first ever Global Digital Surveillance Forum Thailand will be held on 1 – 2 July and will feature the latest IP and intelligent solutions from the industry’s leading software and hardware providers who include Axis, Everfocus, Hikvision, Panasonic, Sony and Vivotek.

On 1 July, exhibitors will demonstrate their new products and technologies at the Product Presentation which is an opportunity for participants to learn more about new products and innovative solutions.
