Assa Abloy goes wireless at Intersec in Dubai

Dubai, U.A.E

Assa Abloy plans to drive the future of wireless access control with the latest range of battery-powered product solutions for any building or business, including Aperio technology and Smartair from Assa Abloy´s Tesa brand, both of which will be showcased at Intersec 2014, in Dubai later this month.
Assa Abloys Aperio technology has been engineered to expand an access control system, wirelessly and cost-efficiently. The technology enables an organisation's mechanical locks to be integrated into a new or existing access control system, without breaking the bank. The Aperio range is growing fast, and now includes Aperio L100 wireless locks, Aperio AS100 wireless door status sensor, and the Aperio Pinpad escutcheon. Aperio open architecture allows the technology to be seamlessly integrated into third-party building management systems. Nedap, Schneider Electric, Genetec, G4S, TDSi, RBH ARAS and Gallagher are among the major OEMs showcasing Aperio wireless access products at Intersec 2014.

The Smartair from Assa Abloys´s brand, Tesa, is an affordable suite of wireless access control products for small to medium-sized businesses and buildings, and a seamless step up from an organisation’s mechanical master key system. Smartair is easy to install, with no cabling or wires, and therefore requires no electricians on-site. Smartair from Tesa enables facilities managers to change access rights in the most cost-effective way, and offers a variety of access rights updates—such as update on card via wall-reader or online via communication hub—in one system.
