Vatics to showcase new panoramic IP cam SoC solution at CPSE 2015

Vatics has launched an affordable Panoramic IP camera SoC solution--M3C, and will showcase the latest developments at the 15th China Public Security Expo for Security & Protection (CPSE 2015) taking place Oct 29 to Nov 1 in Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center.

Vatics M3C SoC is a single-chip solution, integrated with advanced ISP, hardware fisheye correction, ARM processor, H.264 encoder, MIPI sensor interface and 1Gb/2Gb SDRAM (SiP) for compact form-factor. This highly integrated SoC offers a wide view angle (up to 180/360 degree Panorama View) and Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) capability for crystal clear image reproduction. In addition, working closely with many fisheye lens makers, Vatics M3C platform will assure customers to capture and output with effective wide-angle quality at lowest cost.

It is inevitable that home cameras will soo be equipped with wide viewing angle for indoor/outdoor monitoring and IOT controls. Vatics M3C SoC platform offers hardware-accelerated dewarping to ease wide-angle remote home monitoring and smart home control with visual and interactive feedbacks. The platform features real-time performance up to 1080p, flexible multiple dewarping modes including fisheye ePTZ and easy software development for both the camera and mobile phone (client).
