Secure Logiq is set to be a technology partner for Tinyg’s first conference in the UAE. The counter terrorism conference from the global terrorism information network, titled Cyber Terrorism, Safe Cities & Advanced Technical Innovation, will be hosted by HSBC Dubai at HSBC Tower in Emaar Square later this month.

Tinyg has already hosted successful conferences across the US and Europe prior to this first UAE edition. The global terrorism information network has partnered with industry innovators Secure Logiq, Axis Communications and Genetec to help the security community in the Middle East to gain a better understanding of the technology landscape, the direction of innovation and how technology can play an important role in addressing the rising global threats reported around terrorism, including Martyn’s Law.

The free event will feature a keynote address from Dean Haydon QPM, Former Deputy Assistant Commissioner, Metropolitan Police and a former National CT Co-Ordinator for the UK alongside a host of informative presentations from top senior law enforcement officers, ethical hackers and technology solution providers.

Joining the speaker lineup is Secure Logiq Co-Founder Robin Hughes, who will present a case study about a smart city project in the Middle East. He will provide in-depth information about the project, where the key requirement was for resilience of the CCTV and ANPR system across multiple cities with disaster recovery sites also replicated across cities.

“Secure Logiq is excited to partner with Tinyg for their first conference in the UAE,” said Hughes. “This is a wonderful opportunity to share best practice solutions with a high-level, knowledgeable crowd. The project I will be discussing is one of the most complex, most resilient solutions we have ever supplied. I’m sure that it will provide significant insights to the local security industry community.”
