Advancis is a global leader in vendor-neutral Physical Security Information Management (PSIM) with offices and partners around the world. The company was founded in 1994 with the goal of developing a software platform for unified control of disparate technical systems. Advancis is an ISO 9001 certified company headquartered in Langen/Frankfurt, Germany.

WinGuard from Advancis is an open PSIM platform to control security, building automation, IT and communication systems. Dynamic workflows (SOPs) support the operator in event processing. All actions and user entries are logged in WinGuard. Based on this data, reports and evaluations can be generated, offering a quick overview of key figures.

WinGuard is scalable from a single workstation system to an internationally cross-linked control center and can be extended anytime by further servers and clients, function and interface modules.

Currently, over 470 interface drivers to different technical subsystems are available. Development of new interfaces is possible as well. With the recent version WinGuard X5 based on the new Advancis Open Platform, partners and customers are able to develop their own interface and function modules and to implement them directly in WinGuard. This makes it possible to realize very specific project requirements independently.

Advancis also offers AIM, a platform for consolidating existing access control and IT systems through centralized identity management, and Minder, a software-as-a-service solution enabling companies to minimize their operational risk by comprehensively protecting people and assets.
