Simply connect the cameras and power, enter local time and language, and the unit begins recording automatically.

Operating the Video Recorder 400 Series is simple and very convenient, and can even be done off-site thanks to the recorder's built-in web viewer, which allows for remote viewing, playback, control and configuration. In the event of an alarm, the system's video manager sends an alert instantly by automatic email.

The 400 Series takes advantage of the latest H.264 compression technology that greatly reduces the amount of bandwidth and storage needed, enabling it to store for at least 30 days. Recording rate and quality settings up to 4CIF are individually configurable per channel for maximum flexibility. The 400 Series' dual streaming capability supports multiple video and audio signals while simultaneously providing live multi-screen viewing and playback.

In addition, comprehensive search and playback functions including a 'Smart Search' utility help locate recorded events quickly by looking for changes in selected areas.
