Vicon marches on with new partnership

Vicon Industries is continuing to expand its U.S. sales presence with the addition of GP Marketing.They will cover Oregon, Washington, Alaska, Idaho and Montana. This additional sales resource demonstrates Vicon’s commitment to developing strong partnerships and providing local sales support.

This appointment signals a further strengthening of Vicon’s sales presence nationwide in response to strong demand for Vicon’s security solutions. The programme expands Vicon’s sales channel beyond Vicon’s Regional Sales Representatives, providing more opportunities to collaborate and reach customers looking for video security solutions and customer insights. To date, Vicon has signed nine manufacturers’ representative firms across the United States and Canada.

GP Marketing has been in the “security systems” market as a manufacturers’ representative in the Pacific Northwest for almost 20 years. Principal Gary Ponto welcomes Vicon; “We are a technical sales organisation that is focused on synergistic selling of ‘systems ’ to meet the customer’s needs. Vicon has been a recognisable name in the industry for decades and we are very pleased to be part of the family. The addition of the Iqeye by Vicon camera line will open up new markets for Vicon sales." We can support analogue, IP, or hybrid system deployments, giving us a wide range of markets to address.”
