Tyco Fire & Security's acquisition of Retail Expert has benefits for both companies, according to Garrett Knight, current chief executive officer of Retail Expert, Inc. Retail Expert will continue to operate out of its Boston offices, providing customers with service and support. Effective immediately, Knight has assumed the role of vice president, research and development for retail business intelligence operations at Tyco Fire & Security.
