Drakon Chile Ltda team with Francisco Fuster

Teleeye Group, pioneers in high-tech video surveillance systems and cutting-edge technologies with a global presence and Sociedad Comercial Drakon Chile Limitada (also known as Drakon Chile Ltda), a well established leader in the Chilean alarm systems market have agreed a partnership for the distribution of the full range of Teleeye products as of July 1st 2015.

In joining the Teleeye Partner Program, Drakon Chile Ltda is able to offer a more comprehensive range of video surveillance solutions and innovative technologies to the Chilean market. According to the IHS Technology “Video surveillance market to see sustained growth in Latin America” report, in 2014, Chile is expected to see strong growth over the next five years, as the Chilean market has been recognised to be very business friendly with some of the lowest levels of import duties in Latin America. Moreover, a stable economic outlook and a flourishing mining sector are expected to attract future foreign investment, which are key growth drivers for the video surveillance equipment market.

Since beginning their operations in 2009, Drakon Chile Ltda has developed and implemented many projects that have been executed throughout Chile. These projects include the implementation of community alarms consisting of 120 wireless GSM systems in 2013, for the shopping mall, in the commune of Curanilahue. Another important project is the installation of GSM equipment, 122 Alarms in the project "Heritage Watchers" in Santiago, funded by the FNDR, 2014.

"The alliance with Teleeye means a breakthrough for professional remote monitoring in the Chilean market, since we will be adding one of the most prestigious global brands in the field to our product portfolio and Chilean companies will also have access to one of the leading innovators in the area. In Drakon Chile we believe that annual sales of the brand Teleeye will contribute to about 50% of our global sales, given the high interest in this type of product,” states Mr. Francisco Fuster, Administration and Finance Director of Drakon Chile Ltda.

“Through this agreement with Drakon Chile Ltda, it is a great opportunity for Teleeye to deliver innovative technologies to the Latin American market. Such as signal processing, remote video transmission, mobile monitoring solutions, proprietary video coder – HD SMAC-M and Hacker Resistant technology,” states Dr. Wallace Ma, Executive Director of Teleeye Group. “By bringing Teleeye solutions and products incorporated with these techniques, along with Drakon’s knowledge and capability, we will be able to meet and deliver the demands for the growing video surveillance market.”
