Stopware adds new integration partners

Pleasanton, Ca

Stopware Inc, a global leader in visitor management technology has added several new technology integrations to its Passagepoint Global and Passagepoint EDU visitor management software solutions, designed to deliver improved visitor management for schools, hospitals and government agencies.

“Today’s security applications continue to move toward higher-level integration. To stay ahead of the curve and accommodate this evolution, Stopware is constantly adding new capabilities to Passagepoint,” said Paul Terschuren, CEO, Stopware, Inc. “From an education-specific version to integrations with innovative technologies, these advancements are the result of working closely with both end users and reseller partners to identify the features and functionality needed to improve security and comply with ever-changing security rules, regulations and requirements.”

The powerful and versatile PassagePoint Global is a widely scalable visitor management solution that offers extensive customisation, integration and configuration capabilities.  This flexibility makes it easy to deploy a visitor management solution globally, with the ability to control operations from a centralised location.

Developed specifically for the needs of K-12 schools and districts, Passagepoint EDU provides the ability to manage all visitor types and comply with state and/or district standards and procedures to assure school safety and security. With Passagepoint EDU, staff can scan driver’s licenses or other identification for easy data entry, allowing visitors, volunteers, temporary personnel and others to be easily signed in and given temporary badges to indicate they are authorised to be on-site within 20 seconds. The software allows for pre-registration and badges can be pre-printed. Watch lists can be imported and a real time sex offender registry search can be used to screen and deny access to the school premises.

Passagepoint Global includes a new HL7 Integration to provide a powerful patient tracking module for healthcare facilities. Adhering to the Health Level 7 (HL7) standard for patient information in hospitals, the solution monitors patient information and its status in real-time using ADT (Admissions/Discharge/Transfer) to direct visitors to the proper location during the check-in process. Additionally, Passagepoint HL7 automatically tracks max number of visitors allowed and the real-time status of each patient’s visitors on the premises.

New access control integrations for Stopware include leading manufacturers such as Lenel, Amag, S2 and RS2, improving the security of buildings and campuses while lowering total costs.
