Six Eneo economic cameras for 2015

Rodermark, Germany

The latest high-performance Full HD network cameras in the Eneo Economy Class, each have a 1/2.8" 2.0 MP progressive scan CMOS sensor and deliver a maximum resolution of 1920 by 1080 pixels as well as a maximum frame rate of 30 fps.

Two pairs of domes and bullet cameras are availbale with metal housings and two domes come with a plastic housing, all of which are equipped with a varifocal lens (3.5-16 mm) or a lens with a fixed focal length of 3.7 mm. Digital noise reduction (DNR), back light compensation (BLC), auto white balance, auto exposure (AE), e-PTZ support along with motion detection and ONVIF Profile S support are also shared features for the new cameras. The H.264, MPEG-4, M-JPEG and JPEG video compression formats are provided. Triple Streaming permits simultaneous output of up to three video streams with full resolution and different codecs (e.g. 2x H.264, 1x MJPEG). The privacy zone masking allows for safeguarding of 8 masks whilst open VPN permits secure remote access. The boost function is particularly interesting: in the event of an alarm it raises the frame rate automatically.

As true day and night cameras, all six newcomers are fitted with a switchable IR cut filter as well as 24 or 36 integrated infrared LEDs (850 nm) with a range of 20 metres. The integrated light sensor automatically activates or deactivates the illumination in response to the ambient light, whilst users can manually adjust the intensity in five stages over the web interface.

For recording purposes, Eneo recommends the recorders of the PNR-5300 series that, by means of their built-in PoE ports, ensure the power supply for up to eight new IP cameras. The PNR-5316 recorders even supply another eight addtional IP cameras through an external switch.
