Siqura enhances encoder features

Gouda, The Netherlands

Siqura has released version 2 of the S-64 E, its successful four-channel video encoder.

Siqura's S-series video encoders have been designed to take an analogue CCTV system a step further. The S-64 E converts analogue video signals into two independent H.264 streams per channel. This four-channel video encoder delivers crystal clear, low-bandwidth video and interoperability with most existing systems. The S-64 E is also available with an extended temperature range, and with an SFP interface for Ethernet over fibre or (using Siqura's ECO-plug) Ethernet over coax.

This new version is a drop-in replacement for its predecessor, but with the added benefit of digital I/O, audio, improved H.264 encoding, 960H support and an intuitive web interface.

The user simply connects any analogue cameras and is able to start streaming crystal clear video. The S-64 E v2 automatically switches to edge recording when the connection with the network recorder is lost.
