Multihaul from Siklu earned the title “Best Wireless Broadband Solution” as part of the ASTORS Award programme, an annual security-industry awards programme which recognises new technologies designed to address the growing homeland security threats in the United States.

Siklu’s Multihaul uses beamforming technology within a point-to-multipoint network topology that makes installation by a single person a reality for system integrators. The solution’s 90-degree scanning antenna auto-aligns multiple terminal units from a single base unit, serving multiple locations while reducing installation times and the total cost of ownership for end users.

The radios leverage narrow beams in the uncongested 60, 70-80 GHz mmWave spectrum, which are immune to heavy Wi-Fi signals. Transmitting high bandwidth information across security networks, the Multihaul provides interference free connectivity, making it ideal for mission critical and smart cities deployments that demand secured always-on connectivity.
