Qylur, a specialist in screening systems for large scale public venues, has appointed Amir Neeman as vice president of government business. Neeman has over 20 years experience within aviation and homeland security and security technologies.
Qylur was formed based on many years spent developing and managing technologies to counter suicide bombers in Israel. Its Qylatron solutions for air, ground and rail are the first fully integrated security checkpoint systems for large public venues. They provide fast, friendly and reliable security screening solutions for security managers and the public, combining artificial intelligence and expert systems while respecting privacy rights.

In announcing Neeman’s appointment Dr. Dolev said, “We are pleased to have an industry leader with Amir’s vision and experience joining our team of experts. He knows the industry well, is comfortable with the major players and will make a difference for us in ensuring long term growth.”

In this newly created position, Neeman will develop and direct Qylur’s government business unit to address the security requirements of government entities and agencies worldwide. Neeman joins a team of industry leaders at Qylur and will be responsible for the expansion of the government sector’s customer base and the management of its ongoing business operations.

Prior to joining Qylur, Neeman was a director with LeighFisher for six years heading its security planning practice. There, he was a consultant to the U.S. Transportation Security Administration (TSA) on several key nationwide studies related to strategic planning and the screening equipment deployment. He also addressed security challenges for private sector clients and other airports. Prior to that, he worked at GE Security (formerly Invision Technologies) for four years leading their product marketing and development activities for explosive detection systems.

Before joining GE, Neeman held various positions within the Israeli Security Agency (ISA) for seven years. There, he was manager of the Technical Security Screener Unit at the Israeli Airport Authority where he defined security technology needs for El-Al Israel airlines.

Neeman received his M.B.A. from of the Technion Institute of Technology in Israel in 2002. He earned a B.A. in law and philosophy of science from Tel Aviv University in 1996.
