"We believe the best way for us to excite customers about the benefits of our SSNR technology is to provide "hands-on" demonstrations," says David Hammond, Samsung Techwin's European sales manager.

SSNR, Samsung's super noise reduction technology, by eliminating high levels of noise created when lighting levels are low, makes images cleaner and sharper without creating ghosting or motion blur. Independent tests have shown that colour images with SSNR applied stay sharp and clean, even after colour information is lost due to a lack of light.

"The big bonus offered by SSNR is that when using MPEG-4 compression, file sizes are reduced by 70%. This provides the choice of recording up to three times more or if a CCTV system is networked, a much faster update speed." David adds.
