The multimode version offers a transmission distance of up to 2.5 miles (4km) with up to a 13dB optical budget, while the singlemode version offers a transmission distance of up to 35 miles (56km) with a 23dB optical budget. One- and two-fiber versions are available. PTZ data is transmitted to the dome while video is transmitted back. Bi-directional data is also available. Data protocols, including most major brands, such as Infinova, Pelco P and D, Kalatel, Vicon, Bosch, Manchester/Biphase, RS-232, RS-422 and RS-485 (2- and 4- wire), are DIP switch selectable. Output from the dome camera is via ST or FC connector.
