Notable enhancements to Sielox Pinnacle access control platform include a new cover and splash screen with new icons and colour scheme and a re-sized screen layout to accommodate wider monitors. The update is now also supported by the latest operating systems including Windows 10; SQL Express 2008 R2 and SQL Express Management Studio - now all packaged with Pinnacle.
Additionally, the two-man rule has been moved to the controller for decisions and is no longer server-based. This is available for both hardwired and wireless locks. In terms of privilege access levels and reports, the new version has up to 16 privilege levels for responders during lockdown, reader block and hard anti-passback and the status has been added to the report template. It also includes support for sharing manual additions of new cardholders to partitions. This capability also has also been added to the automated database imports coming from Pinnacle Data Exchange.
Pinnacle v.10 is now equipped with new programming conveniences including time zone summaries, 1700 Controller programming, property configuration in Pinnacle or 1700 web page and daily reboot capability for main controller properties. New lockdown programming enables the ability to lock down any door both hardwired and wireless as well as restrict access privilege card holders only.
There is also a new Integrated biometrics capability with multiple clients and further upgraded integrations with Easy Lobby visitor management and Otis, Thyssen Krupp and Schindler elevator systems.
Upgrades to the Pinnacle 1700 Controller include additional home page information; increased support and functionality for Allegion Engage NDE locks, Allegion AD 300/400 locks, Allegion AD mortice deadbolt and Allegion AD lock privacy mode; and real time monitoring of door status switch for when a door is held open too long. Linking and unlinking AD and NDE locks is through the 1700 web interface. Memory card information now provides actual file size. Improved network and RS-485 communication.
