Panasonic home network cameras enable remote viewing

The Panasonic BLC1,wired type, and BL C20, wireless type, home network cameras enable the user to check out movements at home whilst away. The built in web server in the network cameras enables direct connection to a personalised network in order to view what is going on from a PC or mobile phone browser.

The user can check their entrance, living room, or any other part of the house, right from their office or holiday destination. The BL-C1 and BL-C20 IP network cameras provide the solution for home surveillance needs and are competitively priced because they only include the most important functions, making them simple and easy to use.
Both camera units encompass the same features including the 10x digital zoom function which allows you to zoom in on still images and see closely and clearly what is going on. This is a useful tool for zooming in on pets, for example, providing a close-up snap shot whilst the user is away. A simple mouse operation is all it takes to effectively enlarge the image up to 10x larger.
The BL-C1 and BL-C20 both feature auto setup and UPnP functions to simplify installation by automatically making the necessary network connection settings for you. Both cameras also support the DDNS (Dynamic Domain Name Service) for fixed domains, enabling you to find your cameras images via the same Web address every time. Both the BL-C1 and BL-C20 also offer remote pan and tilt functions so you can adjust the camera angles for free from any regular PC Web browser.
It is possible to record the moving images captured by the camera onto a PC. Enabling natural motion that is not usually possible with still pictures. The system is equipped with multi camera capability, enabling you to check images from three sets of four cameras allowing you to display still images from up to 12 cameras on a single page. Up to 250 images can also be stored inside the cameras internal memory depending upon size and what it is that is saved.
Colour night viewing mode enables night time operation. The cameras brightness settings are automatically adjusted when the room light is dimmed, so you can see clearly even when the light is provided by the auxiliary fluorescent lamp alone.
The BL-C1 and BL-C20 can be set in motion detection mode enabling the cameras to only capture images when motion is detected based on the preset threshold and sensitivity of the camera. The images can then be stored temporarily within the camera or sent to you by email or FTP data transfer.
Both Panasonic's BL-C1 and BL-C20 offer a number of benefits as security solutions. With the BL-C20 now offering wireless surveillance, the IP cameras remain discreet and unobtrusive making them suitable for use at home and in the office. Both feature attractive design and small, white casing.
