Onssi and Sentry360 aim high

Plainfield, Il and Pearl River, NY

Onssi and Sentry360 have completed the technical integration of the Sentry360 leading edge high megapixel camera line and Ocularis, Onssi's flagship IP-video surveillance and security platform in order to target the high-end application market. Ocularis is a comprehensive video management system that combines powerful network video recorders (NVRs) with physical security information management (PSIM) functionality.
To meet the growing demand from customers requiring top rated, higher resolution megapixel cameras without sacrificing performance, Onssi has completed its integration with the Sentry360 Insight portfolio of megapixel cameras ranging from 2.0 megapixel CCD auto focus cameras up to the recently announced world’s smallest 14 megapixel, ONVIF compliant, advanced H.264 multi-streaming camera. Now these megapixel cameras are more economically available to Ocularis users, offering affordable access to higher resolution without sacrificing Onssi’s performance.

“The new integration with the Sentry360 cameras allows users to monitor critical areas with more on target pixels, even while reducing camera counts,” said Mulli Diamant, Vice President of Sales, Onssi. “With the addition of Sentry360’s 5k, 10k and 14k fixed cameras, video surveillance customers can harness the full power of the Ocularis video surveillance platform much more cost-efficiently.”

“The combination of Ocularis and the Sentry360 product-line, brings the surveillance professional new and powerful options,” said Thomas Carnevale, President, Sentry360. “The combined solution offers high performance for multiple key vertical markets. Our integration with Ocularis is an exciting step toward paving the way to affordable high megapixel performance for the video surveillance industry.”
