Onssi accelerates analogue to IP

Pearl River, NY

Onssi is releasing a new licensing structure that effectively accelerates the migration from analogue to IP video surveillance operations.

The licensing is based on a one-to-one-to-many licensing structure whereby only one license is required for each encoder IP address, regardless of the number of analogue cameras connected to the encoder. This provides analogue system owners with a highly cost-efficient incentive to implement their migration from analogue to IP functionality without having to rip and replace legacy edge devices and cabling infrastructure.

"Our new licensing structure provides users employing analogue cameras and infrastructure with a compelling incentive to migrate their surveillance operations to an IP platform employing the power of our Ocularis VMS solution,” said Ken LaMarca, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Onssi. "By greatly reducing the licensing costs associated with individual analogue cameras by requiring only one license per encoder IP address, Onssi opens up a whole new level of IP efficiency and functionality for the large population of analog system users, while further amortising prior capital investments in their surveillance systems.”
