Today, Digimerge announced the introduction of their DHX series DVRs which offers a flexible high performance solution for demanding network environments.
Recording of up to 16 video channels can be independently programmed. Locally the DHX supports individual channel control for resolution, frame rate and image quality. In the remote client application the addition of individual channel bandwidth control allows for systems resources to be easily directed to the where they are needed. This flexibility allows the user to optimize DVR performance, while minimizing bandwidth utilization. The DHX is IT Department friendly.
The remote view and control capabilities are state-of-the-art. Full view and control of all camera feeds are available over the Internet. In addition, 100% of the programming can be performed remotely, allowing systems integrators to modify their customer's security network with out an onsite visit. The Digimerge DHX series is ideal for scalable surveillance solutions from 1 to over 1000 sites all managed from a central location.
There are two base models in the DHX line: eight and 16 channels, each with a 300 GB hard disk drive. The DHX supports up to three disk drives of capacities exceeding 500GB each. All models have MPEG4 compression, IR remote control, CDRW VGA output and Pentaplex functionality for simultaneous viewing, recording and playback both locally and over the network. In addition there are 2 USB ports, for a mouse and data export.
