Moxa surveillance products integrate with Avigilon software

Taipei, Taiwan

The Moxa IP video surveillance products, Vport 36-1MP rugged IP camera and Vport 461 industrial video encoder, are now compatible with Avigilon's Control Center software, based on ONVIF specifications.
As a securely distributed network platform with enterprise-class reliability, Avigilon Control Center (ACC) offers indisputable image details, and effectively captures and manages high-definition multi-megapixel surveillance video while efficiently managing bandwidth and storage. Avigilon Control Center has been widely used in large enterprise IP CCTV systems, such as city security systems, transportation surveillance, academy surveillance, and for government uses. With the support of the Avigilon Control Center video management system, system integrators and end-users can easily integrate Moxa’s IP video surveillance solutions with reduced installation cost, and enhance interoperability and deployment flexibility.

Moxa’s Vport 36-1MP is said to be the world’s first H.264 box-type IP camera that operates reliably in temperatures ranging from -40 to 75°C—without a heater or cooling fan. The Vport 36-1MP combines industrial-grade reliability, HD resolution (1280 x 720), advanced IVA (intelligent video analysis) technology, and de-mist technology to enhance surveillance system reliability and efficiency while delivering state-of-the art video quality.

The Vport 461 is a 1-channel H.264/MJPEG industrial video encoder that supports full D1 resolution with up to 30/25 (NTSC/PAL) frames per second, three simultaneous streams, video latency under 200 ms, SD/SDHC slots for local storage, two Ethernet ports for cascading or port redundancy, pre-alarm recording, and two-way audio service.

In the near future, Moxa intends to continue to partner with leading video management software providers around the world to integrate Moxa’s video surveillance solutions featuring industrial-grade design, ONVIF support, H.264, and MJPEG video streaming.
