While the official sponsor of the Crosspointe Elementary School backpack event is COPS Monitoring, a number of companies have generously taken part in the sponsorship. These include Solution Box, Expo Seguridad, Came, Westham Trade Company, Axis, Signalis Group, Western Digital Sandisk, Ventas De Seguridad, Alas, and Nedap.
The 550 backpacks assembled at the event will be distributed to students at Crosspointe Elementary School on August 14 from 10:00AM, – 1:00PM, which also provides the sponsoring companies and industry volunteers with the opportunity to meet and interact with the students.
“We are so proud and honoured to see our peers in the professional security industry working with Mission 500 to support this great cause,” said Jeff Eichenlaub, Director of Strategic Partnerships, Mission 500. “We are sincerely grateful to all of the sponsors and volunteers participating in this event and who support Mission 500 throughout the year to assist children and families in need across the United States.”
“Our students often do not have the necessary supplies to be successful in school,” said Courtney Roper, Parent Liaison of Crosspointe Elementary School. “With Mission 500 and their partners donating all of these backpacks and supplies, our students not only receive what they need physically but also emotionally. The kindness shown to them lets them know that someone does care and wants them to succeed not only in school but in life. Mission 500 is a perfect example of how kindness does truly matter!”
