Maxxess wins contract for Ferrari World Abu Dhabi

Anaheim, Ca

Maxxess Systems have been awarded a prestigious contract to provide access control and security management software for Ferrari World, Abu Dhabi.
When it opens at the end of October 2010, Ferrari World will be the largest theme park in the Middle East. It will sit under an iconic sleek red roof, directly inspired by the classic double curve side profile of the Ferrari GT body, spanning 200,000m² and carrying the largest Ferrari logo ever created. Amongst its many attractions will be a Ferrari museum, high-end racing simulators and the fastest roller-coaster in the world.

The Maxxess e-Fusion software suite will be utilised to ensure that Ferrari World can maximise its investment in a sophisticated Maxxess engineered access control system as well as a 600 camera IP based surveillance system and other security systems being installed to create a secure and safe environment for all who visit and work at the theme park.

“We are delighted that we have been entrusted to provide a security solution for this major project,” said Lee Copland, Managing Director of Maxxess Systems EMEA. “We will now be working very closely with our installation partners in Abu Dhabi to ensure that full integration of all the component parts of the security solution is achieved in time for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix which takes place on 14th November 2010.
