Allowing the dome to work with the majority of popular control systems, it includes multiple RS485 and coax telemetry protocols. Its coax control allows the upgrade of existing static cameras to PTZ, without the need for extra cable requirements. It is also backwardly compatible with previous Vista PowerDome models.
Saving on post-maintenance installation set-up, the PowerDome Pro 18:1 low light dome features a handy Back Box Memory that allows the easy replacement of camera modules, without the loss of any settings. A tilt up +5 degree feature allows the viewing area to be adjusted to suit individual site requirements.
Offering a host of alarm trigger options, the dome camera features 7-alarm inputs and 2-alarm outputs in the dome head. Alarm inputs from external devices can be used to trigger any of the dome's P/T functions, pre-sets, Tours & Learn Tours, as well as generating warnings.
A multi-lingual on-screen display (OSD) provides simple and intuitive setup, whilst for use within areas of sensitive scene coverage the dome features 24-integrated programmable 'privacy zones'. This ensures areas of sensitive content are screened from operator view.
"Complementing the existing range of Vista PowerDome Pro series dome cameras, the PowerDome Pro 18:1 low light dome represents exceptional value for money," says Mark Pritchard, Vista's divisional director. "To suit any application, this new 1/3" camera provides unparalleled performance in low light and IR illuminated scenes."
