Users of spectrum-dependent radio equipment for transmitting alarm signals to an on-site alarm monitoring centre must have a formally approved radio frequency authorisation or license assignment from the appropriate local radio spectrum manager or responsible authority before operating the equipment.
The Keltron Active Network Radio System is designed to transmit and receive fire and life safety alarm communication data over short or extended ranges. The certification signifies that the product has met stringent security, reliability and flexibility requirements for U.S. military network deployments.
The Keltron Active Network Radio System connects seamlessly to the UL listed Keltron LS 7000 Life Safety Event Management System which provides the dispatch, monitoring and reporting software in a single system.
Now approved for selection and use by all branches of the U.S. military, the Keltron Active Network Radio System offers the ability to extend wireless networks beyond the confines of individual buildings without the need for a direct buried line or building-to-building conduit runs. The JF-12 compliant Keltron radio system is currently deployed by the US Coast Guard, US Army and US DoE facilities throughout the US and its territories and is used to provide reliable dispatch and response to fire and life safety incidents.
