KBC multimode transmission solutions

Maidstone, Kent

Digital Standard from KBC Networks is ideal for point-to-point systems, and the ASFOM system allows the user to specify multi-channel, mixed signal units for point-to-point, bus and redundant transmission.

With industrial casings and extended operating temperatures the KBC fibre optic ranges are designed to perform in non-conditioned environments.

Both ranges support multimode and singlemode transmission and are available in compact, wall-mount, card and rack configurations.

Digital Standards are the essential building blocks for point-to-point fibre optic transmission, and offer multimode and singlemode solutions for static & PTZ cameras; industrial data systems; single channel contact closure and Ethernet media conversion (including PoE+).  For straight forward system design and faster installation, single fibre transmission has the potential to cut passive infrastructure requirements by half.  KBC fibre products feature 8- or 10-bit digitally-encoded video transmission. This improves performance and provides excellent signal-to-noise ratio. Compact field units and high density chassis configurations enable the user to minimize space requirements in the field and in the cabinet.  Compact and wall-mount units are supplied with a broad input voltage of 12-24Vac/dc inputs.

ASFOM on the other hand is a multi-channel, mixed signal solution that allows users to specify the exact number and mix of channels needed. It's ideal for situations where fibre is limited, or where there's a number of common or mixed electrical signals. Other features also include, a multi interface, custom design, multimode or singlemode, point-to-point, bus, optional redundant optical path configuration and dual redundant power connections.
