J.M. Allain appointed president of Panasonic System Solutions

Panasonic today announced that J.M. Allain has been appointed President, Panasonic System Solutions Company (PSSA).


PSSA provides technology solutions and systems for diverse business applications such as security, medical and industrial imaging, point-of-sale workstations, drive-thru communications, large screen LED and other digital signage.

Mr. Allain, who most recently managed the global operations of Duos Technologies, succeeds Frank DeFina, who recently retired. "We are pleased to welcome J.M. Allain to the Panasonic team," said Yoshi Yamada, chairman & CEO of Panasonic Corporation of North America. "With his background in global systems integration marketing and sales management for enterprises ranging from start-ups to multinational companies, he brings a strong portfolio of valuable experience to this position."

Mr. Allain has led deployments of leading-edge integrated security systems in high-profile public and private institutions around the world. He has also established experience in a number of technology-driven industries including data communications and telecommunications.

Mr. Allain holds an MBA in International Trade and Finance as well as Bachelor's degrees in Business Administration and Systems Engineering.
