Since its inception in 2000, InterTECH has developed a client list which includes Fortune 500 companies, utility companies, professional sports venues, higher education organizations, pharmaceutical companies, public transportation authorities, and other government agencies. InterTECH offers unique solutions to integrating all aspects of an organizations security needs. Their staff provides expertise from concept to design and installation by working collaboratively with clients and equipment manufactures to implement the best solutions. InterTECH's headquarters are in Warrendale, PA. In addition to the Maryland location, they operate satellite offices in Johnstown PA and Morgantown WV.

E-Quip was founded in 1994 by Robert Cannon. E-Quip has grown steadily over the past decade by focusing primarily in the financial, retail, correctional facilities, and government markets. Mr. Cannon will remain with InterTECH Maryland for the foreseeable future in the role of Vice President of Sales and Marketing. InterTECH plans to retain all current employees of the combined entities to service current and future customers.

The synergies between the companies and the opportunity to build on the resources of each organization prompted the merger. InterTECH's success in the fast growing integration market will be enhanced by E-Quip's experience in banking and correctional institutions. Conversely, E-Quip's personnel will help retain and grow InterTECH's customer base in the Washington DC area. E-Quip's customers will benefit from a wider variety of product options, more service capabilities, and additional expert personnel in service, installation, and monitoring. Efficiencies will also be realized through consolidation of accounting, customer service, purchasing, and outsourced services.

InterTECH's revenue grew 30% in 2006. In the last 18 months, they have completed more than 1200 projects for clients throughout the United States. At year end, InterTECH employed more than 115 associates.
