The SCOPE 5400/EMV complies with the latest demands for the banking card sector. It incorporates a new matrix embossing system, a proprietary development of Muehlbauer; which makes insufficient embossing of credit and EMV cards a thing of the past. It also features a 630 meter in length tipper band, allowing a maximum throughput of up to 3,000 cards per hour and the most extensive pool of up to 200 unicode standardized characters - including country-specific special symbols - setting the future benchmark in banking card personalization. The new matrix embossing unit is available on the Muehlbauer personalization systems SCOPE 5400 and SCP 5600 and can be easily upgraded with this new solution.

Additionally to this brand new development, Muehlbauer displays its re-designed and optimized live data enrollment terminal ID Tower. It is the suitable solution for all applications, e.g. ID card or ePassport, requiring biometrics. The design is according to latest ergonomic results, especially with comfortable height adjustability. Usable as passive station for capturing picture, fingerprint, iris etc. as support for the enrollment process by an official or as complete self-service system, ID Tower represents a complete and integrated housing solution with optimized illumination for facial image capturing. Modules for biometrics, such as fingerprint, iris or palm vein, can be modularly included. As all other Muehlbauer data enrollment solutions, ID Tower is used together with the data enrollment software Muehlbauer getID, including fully ICAO compliant picture, signature and fingerprint enhancement.
