Geovision to launch 6 new products in Vegas

Taipei, Taiwan

At ISC West 2012 Geovision is releasing 6 new developments which will be presented when the show opens on 28th March next week in Las Vegas, USA.
The hybrid HD-SDI solution is to be one of the main themes on their stand. The solution brings HD-SDI cameras and systems, and IP cameras and analogue cameras, all together on one platform. The HD-SDI solution offers full HD resolution quality images with no delays. It is now available in an HD-SDI hardware compression card version and box camera.

On the Geovision stand, the team will be presenting a demonstration of their range of full HD IP speed domes. This line of speed domes has a built-in18X or 20X zoom lens mechanism in a selection of indoor or outdoor models. The series is designed to fulfill the demand for high resolution PTZ monitoring, normally for large scale projects.

According to Geovision customers frequently want to view IP video streams from different locations within a building and they are demanding a solution to this problem. This is why and how the GV-IP decoder box was developed. The GV-IP decoder box is designed to decode incoming IP streams from Geovision or third-party IP devices, and display them on a digital or an analogue monitor. It decodes up to 5-megapixels and displays up to 1080p.

Visitors to the Geovision stand will also see a demonstration of their latest 5-megapixel camera. The 5-megapixel camera gives clear images, and the 360-degree ability allows for no blind spots. The solution also offers a unique object tracking function, which helps to track a person or object in this wide range filed-of view. The newly developed fisheye is available in the rugged IP66, IK6 housing, an ideal model for outdoor installation.

Not only surveillance cameras will be covered on the Geovision stand, but also access control solutions with a 4-megapixel camera built in. This solution is a perfect convergence of intelligent video surveillance and access control. The access control reader is built-in with a 4-megapixel lens and gives a 180° view to potentially spot tailgaters, and with the high-resolution provided by the megapixel camera. An extra camera is not required o capture activities at the entrance to the area.

For the growing market demands of mobile vehicle applications, Geovision have developed a compact DVR with a touch-screen pad. The GV-Compact DVR is designed to use in vehicles and confined space. It is available in regular and anti-vibration ACC models, suitable for shock and vibration in mobile environments. Together with the GV-Pad series it becomes a useful mobile solution.
