Geovision reveals latest innovations at ISC West

Taipei, Taiwan

Geovision will be revealing several of their latest innovations at the ISC West show, Las Vegas, next week.
A lineup of latest IP cameras is to be one of the main themes on the stand. Among them are the 30x IP speed dome with 460-degree per second, and the super low lux with 24-hour colour mode in difficult light environments. For retail, there is the 3D people counter marketed as having an over 99% high accuracy rate for flow count as well as the palm-size Ultra box IP camera with IR.

There are also PoE switches designed specifically for IP video streaming to support enough power supply and network connection required by 8 to 24 PoE IP cameras. Several options for Linux-based NVRs will also be shown on the stand.

To satisfy the fast growing IP surveillance market, Geovision has released more than 70 megapixel IP cameras with ONVIF compliance, and starting with firmware 2.06, ONVIF profile S will also be supported. These cameras support leading features such as super low lux, WDR, motorised lens for remote zoom and focus. The NVR/DVR platform also supports Windows 8.
