Genetec signs distribution agreement for Latin America and Caribbean

Genetec has extended for the next five-years its business partnership with Security Engineering Consortium Inc. (SEC) as a value-added distributor in Latin American and the Caribbean. With increasing worldwide presence, Genetec recognizes that this affiliation with SEC will support its international growth strategy, as it will be key in providing innovative IP security solutions to these markets.


In order to accommodate the demand and leverage business opportunities in all the countries located throughout Latin America and the Caribbean, SEC has developed and secured inter-dependent strategic business alliances with partners including CCSI covering Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, Digita Victor covering Mexico, Sinergit covering Dominican Republic and Haiti, NETBeam covering Colombia and Ecuador, CEO covering Costa Rica, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras and Nicaragua, and ILLUMINAT covering the Caribbean, Guyana and Suriname. Throughout all these regions, the Security Engineering Consortium employs more than 1200 people, where 65 percent of employees are dedicated to software and hardware engineering, support and other services.
