Gatekeeper wins $760,000 CDN contract

Abbotsford, BC (Canada)

Gatekeeper Inc has entered into a new contract, with one of the largest school districts in the United States, to provide its solid state school bus video systems for special needs buses. The total contract value is approximately $760,000 CDN.

Under the contract, Gatekeeper will provide its high definition solid state digital video recorders, cameras, and solid state storage. Gatekeeper expects to complete shipment of all systems in March 2016.

In August 2015, Gatekeeper began shipping its high definition mobile video systems to provide transportation managers with better quality video, 360 degrees around their buses. Incidents such as sexual assault, false accusations, vandalism, bullying, and stop arm violations can be recorded to Gatekeeper’s mobile video recorders and easily accessed using Gatekeeper’s G4 video management software.

President and CEO Doug Dyment stated, “Our high definition mobile video platforms are gaining more attention across North America as we continue our sales and marketing efforts. Our systems allow customers to upgrade to our high definition platform without replacing older cameras in their system, providing the benefit of high definition video while giving them the option to replace older cameras as their budgets allow.”

Gatekeeper provides innovative, end-to-end video safety and security solutions for mobile applications including body cameras, in-car police video systems, school bus video and stop arm camera video enforcement systems, transit bus video systems, and airborne digital recording systems for military applications.
