First 5 megapixel surveillance camera from Grandstream Networks

Brookline, Ma

Grandstream Networks has released its first 5 megapixel surveillance camera, the GXV3651 FHD, the lastest addition to the Company's award-winning GXV IP surveillance camera product family.
Targeting wide area surveillance applications requiring superior resolution and image quality under various light conditions including malls, warehouses, universities, government, hospitals, casinos, parking areas, street traffic, etc., the GXV3651 FHD with 5 megapixels and full HD video imaging (1,920x1,080p) at 30fps, reduces the number of surveillance cameras needed within these large area surveillance applications and lowers installation costs.

Featuring multi-rate H.264 and MJPEG real-time (30fps) video compression and full HD (1080p) video imaging, the GXV3651 FHD incorporates an advanced imaging sensor with wide dynamic range and excellent low light sensibility, day/night mode with built-in IR cut, integrated PoE, manual and auto Iris, SDHC interface for local storage, ONVIF compliance and HTTP API for easy integration with various video management systems. The GXV3651 FHD raises the bar with its ability to capture hard-to-see image details with extreme high quality under various light conditions such as employees counting money or players’ activities in casinos, face recognition in high traffic areas such as airports or train stations, money transactions in various bank teller windows and car plate recognition at busy toll booths or in a large parking lot, for example.

“We embrace the receptiveness received to date and focus on market input from our worldwide partners as we expand our IP video surveillance product line,” said David Li, CEO of Grandstream Networks. “This new 5 mapixel surveillance camera adds yet another layer to our solutions offering by addressing large area surveillance applications with the need for extremely high resolutions and sharp imaging details under various light conditions. The GXV3651 FHD delivers the utmost resolution and functionality at a staggeringly attractive price.”

The surveillance camera is incorporated with a 5 megapixel CMOS sensor with exceptional low light sensitivity and wide dynamic range, as well as high quality lens to ensure razor sharp picture quality. It includes a real-time H.264 multi-streaming rate with motion JPEG at 1080p resolution and 30fps. There is a manual and auto Iris, alarm input/output, audio input/output, RS485, USB 2.0 port, and an SD slot. The camera is designed with integrated power-over-Ethernet (802.3af) capabilities, embedded imaging sensor processing technology and video analytics, SIP/VoIP support for full duplex two-way audio as well as video streaming to mobile phones and video phones and a built-in high performance streaming server to allow up to 3 simultaneous 1080p viewers, 16 D1 viewers or 25 CIF viewers.
