Exacqvision VMS software latest upgrade

Indianapolis, In

Exacq Technologies has released version 5.6 of its Exacqvision VMS software, adding, archiving enhancements, custom layouts, email notifications, new and updated IP camera integrations and more.
Exacqvision 5.6 allows users to configure each video server to archive to a networked storage location using the client. This latest version of archiving in the Exacqvision VMS gives users greater flexibility to configure where video and audio is to be archived, what exactly will be archived and when the process will take place—allowing for optimal network performance times.

Exacqvision users can now create customised layouts on the live and search page screens. This new feature enables users to add and delete columns as well as select the size, quantity and location of video windows used. 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratio panels can be combined on the same layout. In addition, these same panels can be oriented horizontally or vertically for greater viewing flexibility.

With Exacqvision 5.6, users now have the ability to include a short preview video file and webserver link to an email notification of an event. The email message can be configured to include the name of the camera the video is from and the date and time of the event.

Multi-streaming on compatible Sony and Vivotek cameras is now supported in the Exacqvision 5.6 release. The release also adds direct driver support for the Ganz Pixelpro line of IP cameras as well as many additional ONVIF driver IP camera integrations. With version 5.6, Exacqvision adds support for Vivotek on Exacqvision Edge. The full-featured Exacqvision Edge server software runs directly on the IP camera with no need for a separate server.
