Dahua USA brings 4K resolution to coax

Irvine, Ca

Dahua Technology USA has introduced what is believed to be the industry’s first HDCVI surveillance cameras with 4K resolution. Available in a box, dome and bullet-style housing, the new Dahua 4K (8MP) HDCVI 3.0 cameras are designed to seamlessly integrate with Dahua’s X58A Ultra Series or C52A Pro Series HCVR to provide a comprehensive image capture and recording solution.

“With the premiere of Dahua’s new 4K HDCVI 3.0 cameras, we’re able to deliver the highest image quality on the market for surveillance systems built on a coax cable infrastructure,” said Jennifer Hackenburg, Senior Product Marketing Manager, Dahua Technology USA. “When combined with Dahua’s recording solution, these 4K cameras provide security professionals with the most advanced analogue imaging technology available, offering both performance and cost advantages.”

Featuring 8MP resolution in real-time, Dahua’s 4K HDCVI 3.0 camera series capture fast moving objects with extreme detail. The wide dynamic range (WDR) of 120dB for the dome and bullet-style cameras and 140dB WDR for the box-style camera ensure high quality images even in scenes with highly contrasted lighting conditions within the scene. Dahua’s 4K HDCVI 3.0 camera series also features the company’s exclusive Starlight technology to produce clear images in near complete darkness. Additional features include advanced 3D noise reduction and a transmission range of up to 300m (over 75-3 coax cable).

Dahua’s 4K HDCVI 3.0 dome and bullet-style cameras feature an IP67 weather resistant enclosure, motorised 3.7 to 11mm lenses, and integrated IR illumination providing detailed images up to 100m (328ft). The dome model features an IK10 vandal resistant rated enclosure.
