Cryptzone appoints new VP Americas

Cryptzone, the European IT security and threat mitigation specialist, has made four internal appointments and one external appointment to its senior management team.
Cryptzone is continuing to drive forward its growth strategy. Since the beginning of the year changes have been implemented with the sole purpose of returning the business to profitability. In line with this primary objective, essential changes are on-going.

According to the company, it is in a transition phase, which demands tireless determination and a strategic approach towards markets and solutions where there are strong market opportunities. In order to meet the strategic challenge during this period of change the management team is to be strengthened.

With immediate effect Jeff Sherwood and Grant Taylor expand their respective regional responsibilities to become Vice President Americas and Vice President Europe respectively. Joakim öhrström joined as the VP Nordics, central Europe, Middle East and Africa on August 1st. Therese Braun steps into the role of Global Head of Professional Services and Beverley Stonehouse as Global Head of Marketing and Communications at the end of August.

Einar Lindquist, CEO at Cryptzone since late May states, "These appointments are occurring as a result of strategic re-organisation within the company. My aim is to create a senior management team, which is able to improve organisational effectiveness and create new market opportunities in a highly competitive IT security market."
