New this year was a virtual run/walk which allowed individuals to participate who did not live in the nearby area or could not attend the event. Overall the event raised $43,000 which will benefit children across the United States, as well as, local elementary students and those in need.

The event was held at Brinks Home Security’s headquarters in Farmers Branch, Texas. Geoffrey Kipchumba won in the male category with the fastest course time of 14:21. Ivy Kibet won the women’s group with a time of 16:01.
