Avigilon appoints Danish distributor

Vancouver, Canada and Copenhagen, Denmark

As from the 1st September Canadian supplier of HD CCTV solutions, Avigilon has appointed Lemvigh-Muller as an official Avigilon distributor in Denmark.
The agreement is expected to forge a strong cooperation between the two companies covering the distribution of cameras, software and IT hardware in the Danish market.

From the Lemvigh-Müller point of view, the company has expressed that they are pleased about the new agreement, as there are high expectations. "Avigilon offers the broadest range of IP cameras, from 1 to 29 megapixels, and one of the big advantages is that customers can buy a comprehensive complete solution from a single manufacturer. This means that they can buy cameras, software and customised IT hardware for data storage from Avigilon. This helps to ensure that the units can communicate with each other, and it is designed to facilitate both installation and use. In addition, the software is already available in Danish and supported by ONVIF, which also makes everything fall into place for the end user. In addition, Avigilon products also have the advantage that customers will not be bound by the cost of an annual license fee, since software updates are included in the price," explains sales manager John E. Christensen, Lemvigh-Müller.

Avigilon is also looking forward to the new working relationship. “We have chosen Lemvigh-Müller partly because of their size on the Danish market and partly because of their high standards for both quality and training of employees. We have already ensured that the relevant staff in Lemvigh-Müller has been Avigilon certified and trained in the company's many products, all of which are now available through Lemvigh-Müller," says Dean Brazenall, senior director of sales at Avigilon.
