Aronson Security Group acquires Selectron, Inc.

Seattle, WA and Portland, ORE (USA)

Aronson Security Group (ASG) announce the acquisition of Selectron, Inc., the largest independent security integrator in Oregon.

Together, the companies form the largest independent security integrator in the Pacific Northwest. This acquisition places ASG in the top 25 security systems integrators in North America according to a 2007 SDM Magazine report.

As a result of its combined footprint and national account programs, ASG will be able to extend its already significant coverage for strategic clients throughout North America. Moving forward, the resources of both companies will allow ASG to meet the growing demands from clients for integrated physical and logical security solutions.

"ASG has always believed in a whole-system approach to security, and the acquisition of Selectron combines the resources from the two largest integrators in the region to meet the enterprise security demands of customers across the country," said Phil Aronson, CEO of Aronson Security Group. "We will now work together to advance a single vision for holistic, integrated physical and logical security. We have formed a strong company with an
unprecedented wealth of knowledge, expertise, and talent under a single roof that will benefit all of our customers. Both ASG and Selectron customers can continue to count on us for cuttingedge security solutions and high-quality service."

Aronson added, "Our vision and mission has always centered on relationships, from our customers to our partners. Our relationship with Selectron spans seven years sharing market, customer and operational strategies. We see the acquisition of Selectron as a natural next step in our evolution as a premier independent integrator for enterprise security solutions by combining our complementary geographic, market, alliance and technology footprints."

"We agreed to this acquisition for a number of reasons," stated Mike Kobelin, vice president of sales and marketing for Selectron. "First, Phil has been a long-term trusted friend to Selectron. For the owners, this was the most important consideration. Secondly, ASG has a corporate
culture that supports the values that we've held for over 45 years."

Added Robert Flynn, chief operating officer of Selectron: "The combination of the two companies will provide exponential value to our customers in terms of knowledge, processes, and geographic coverage that could not have occurred organically."

"This acquisition and the parallel announcement of ASG's new Converged Security Services are significant events in the security industry and in the Pacific Northwest," said Ray Bernard, president of RBCS, a leading security consultancy. "The strategy ASG has been pursuing is
now recognized by the security industry as it has been by its customers. ASG has been articulating the trends around enterprise integration of physical and logical security for a long time. The company has anticipated the significant multiplication of delivered value that is required from integrators to meet the increasing demands of customers for a new level of knowledge, service, value and trust."
