Altronix showcases new Linq technology in Dubai

Brooklyn, NY and Dubai, U.A.E

Altronix Corporation is showcasing a number of new and innovative products and solutions at Intersec 2016 this week in Dubai.

Among the highlights is the company’s new Linq Technology, which fills the void in network communications for mission-critical power distribution applications by providing remote control of power, along with monitoring and reporting of diagnostics.

“Intersec provides Altronix with the opportunity to gain exposure and broaden its presence in global markets,” said Alan Forman, President, Altronix Corporation. “Our recently introduced power and transmission products interface with trending and emerging surveillance and access technologies from the leading equipment suppliers in the professional security industry.”

Altronix’s innovative Linq Communication Technology allows you to monitor, control and report power from anywhere. Multiple products at multiple sites can be easily integrated and managed remotely. Linq also monitors diagnostics and reports via Email/SNMP (simple network management protocol).

The powerful Linq dashboard is designed to work with all Linq enabled products, as well as the company’s Ebridge Ethernet over Coax solutions, Netway managed midspans and Fireswitch NAC power extenders that provide web-based management, and also allow access to third party web-based solutions.

The new Altronix Linq8PD network power distribution module facilitates remote control and monitoring of diagnostics with alerts via email or SNMP to help minimize system downtime, and eliminate unnecessary service calls. Linq8PD allows users to upgrade, control and communicate with up to two low-voltage AC or DC power supply/chargers from virtually any manufacturer, and is designed to retrofit with both new and currently installed units. When utilising two power supplies, output voltage is individually selectable for each of the Linq8PD’s eight outputs.
