Airlive Beam Forming Router locates best signal

The Airlive Beam Forming Router, N450R, delivers direction sensing which increases the wireless signal strength by focusing on the transmission signal. According to the company, this new router could potentially reach dead spots not generally covered by many routers available on the market.
Beam forming is new wireless technology designed to expand the coverage in multi-angle homes and offices. Beam forming is a signal processing technique used to control the directionality of the transmission and reception of radio signals. The most effective type of beam forming is dynamic digital beam forming. This type of beam forming uses an advanced, on-chip digital signal processing (DSP) algorithm to gain complete control over Wi-Fi signals.

By creating several independent signal paths to optimally focus radio energy to and from client devices on a per-packet basis, performance is dramatically improved. In the case of a two-stream configuration, this makes it possible to steer the energy of the antenna array in the independent spatial directions associated with both data streams, while simultaneously avoiding interference. The technology increases the wireless signal strength and the transmission stability towards the intended recipients. It improves the radios efficiency and utility level to achieve greater wireless coverage.

According to live testing by PC World Bulgaria, Airlive N450R’s performance is higher than other routers. Apart from many advantageous features, Airlive N450R has some unique features like it is a Beam Forming dual band 11n router, and possesses 450Mbps 3T3R and 11 a/b/g/n concurrent dual band technology; Gigabit NAT performance; 196MBps real TCP throughput;IPv6; Gigabit LAN/WAN ports; USB for NAS application; it cover every corner of a users' office and home and last but not least it has bandwidth control.

The new N450R router also reduces installation numbers of APs and repeaters, and the router signal can be transmitted to multiple-angles of a space by bouncing the frequency which will extend the wireless coverage.
