The Awards are given to winning security cameras from a two-phase selection process, in which experts first screen entrants to ensure they meet rigorous eligibility requirements, and then buyers attending the exhibition vote for which of these they judge to be best.

Competing security cameras were set up in identical simulated surveillance environments to compare their performance under realistic conditions such as changing light, strong backlighting, and rapid subject movement. Vivotek won for its advanced 'Supreme' series network camera, the IP8162P. IP8162P emerged as winners from among 19 top-flight entrants, sharing the honour with cameras from world-recognised vendors like the Sony, Axis.

Vivotek security cameras offer superior image quality even in challenging conditions, including at night, by drawing on sophisticated features such as P-iris lenses, focus assist, and WDR enhancement. Vivotek Chairman Owen stated, "We are extremely pleased to have won the award.
