Vista remote set up HD IP dome camera

Reading, Berkshire (UK)

Vista has launched a full HD internal IP dome that allows for remote set up/control of the lens zoom and focus setting from any PC or mobile device. This greatly reduces installation and commissioning time, aiding on-site efficiency and minimising costs.
The VK2-1080VFD3V9F offers discreet surveillance and triple streaming of fully HD 1080p video. Powered by PoE, the camera can deliver three independent video streams that can be individually configured to optimise the performance of live, recorded and remote viewing.

The addition of Vista’s unique boost feature enables the camera to automatically increase the number of images per second streamed and recorded when an event occurs. This means a customer can record continuously at a low frame rate but, when an event occurs, the camera automatically increases up to 25ips 1080p HD video.

Complete with alarm input/output functionality, the VK2-1080VFD3V9F is simple to set-up and integrates into third party systems thanks to ONVIF compliance. As with the rest of the VK2 range, the camera is supplied with VK2-Client at no extra cost. This provides powerful video management, allowing up to 128 cameras to be viewed simultaneously, while recording up to 32 cameras to a local PC. This software also allows for connection to multiple VK2 NVR recorders, making it the ideal solution for larger IP systems.

“This discreet little camera combines fantastic image quality with simple and efficient set up,” comments Mark Pritchard, Divisional Director – Vista. “Another variant to the rapidly expanding IP VK2 range, it demonstrates Vista’s commitment to providing IP solutions that are intelligent in design, simple to use, but extremely powerful.”
